Maglificio Pini, a family owned Italian knitwear manufacturer, has announced it will make a big come back to Pitti Filati KnitClub, in Florence, this month.
At Pitti Filati, a leading international rendez-vous for the textiles and knitwear industry, the company will show the key pieces that represent Maglificio Pini’s know-how, expertise and skills. “Furthermore, we are taking part in a few creative projects that combine the love and the ability to create beauty, passion and care for our work,” the company says.
“We have worked together with Dyloan Studio, the driving force of the area Moda Futuribile for the last 10 editions of Pitti Filati. This year’s focus is on the very current concepts of re-think, re-use and re-knit. Trying to promote a sustainable approach to fashion, Dyloan Studio will use its technology and techniques to modify one of the pieces from our garments archive, bringing it new life.”
Maglificio Pini will also contribute to Customeasy, a spin-off of the Research Area, which will this year focus on treatments and maximisation of productive process. In addition to the pieces display at the company’s stand, some creations of Maglificio Pini can also be seen in the Customeasy area.

Maglificio Pini collaborated with Filpucci to develop the knitted stitches for the mill’s stand, in a continuous dialogue between the wealth of experience and the potentiality of innovation, showing the strong Italian character in our souls and – most important – in our knits and yarns,” the company reports.
