Stoll Italia shares some of its design ideas for this week’s Pitti Filati in Florence.
Leading German flat knitting machine manufacturer Stoll will be exhibiting at this week’s Pitti Filati, via its Italian subsidiary Stoll Italia Srl. The leading show for knitwear yarns is taking place at the Stazione Leopolda, in Florence, Italy, from today 2 February until Friday 4 February, and is complimented by the online Pitti Connect.
Carpi, Modena based Stoll Italia has shared some images from its Pitti Filati booth ahead of the show which kicks off this morning.
“The intention of Stoll Italia is to look at new fields, like interior design, in addition to the fashion field,” Stoll Italia’s Fashion & Technology department told Knitting Industry.
“You can see a couple of room dividers named ‘Doodle or Scarabocchio’, completely made of knitted ‘tiles’.
“Going back to the booth – on the walls, you can also see some panels with many swatches, proposed as mood boards, to give any visitor the possibility to interpret knitting as better and as close to their needs, accordingly with their styling image. The most of them have been realized using ADF machines.”
“We tried to employ the complete range of available gauges, from 1,5.2 to 10,2 and as many yarns as possible.”
Stoll Italia’s motto for Pitti Filati is ‘We propose, you realise.’
