The first insight into Pitti Filati’s 83rd Edition was revealed this week. In June, knitting yarn mills from Italy and further afield will congregate in Florence to showcase their Autumn/Winter 2019/20 collections, alongside set visual direction and themes, directed this time by life-styler Sergio Colantuoni.
‘With P.O.P. Pitti Optical Power – the guiding theme of Pitti trade shows – no black and white austerity at the Fortezza da Basso but rather a kaleidoscope of full colour patterns to make living interiors playful and hypnotic. Among stripes that move, sway and cross again and again, the trade show will elicit new horizons of perception and perspectives on reality.’
Pitti Filati 83 will be open to the industry’s buyers, designers and press from 27th to 29th June 2018 in Florence, at the magnificent Fortezza de Basso. Knitting Industry Creative will be at the show, reflecting once again on the latest yarn and trend developments and directions, summarised in a creative report to be published at the beginning of July.
