Company presents latest design software for the hosiery industry at leading Shanghai show.
Leading Japanese knitting technology innovator Shima Seiki is set to exhibit at the 19th Shanghai International Hosiery Purchasing Expo (CHPE 2025) in Shanghai, China. The event provides a key platform for showcasing advancements in the sock and hosiery supply chain, making it an ideal setting for Shima to present its latest innovations.
In Shanghai, Shima will demonstrate its APEXFiz design software, specifically tailored for the hosiery industry. Available as a subscription-based service, APEXFiz supports product planning, colourway evaluation, realistic fabric simulation, and 3D virtual sampling. By replacing physical samples with virtual alternatives, APEXFiz helps reduce time, costs, and material waste, promoting sustainability and digital transformation within the fashion supply chain.
Additionally, APEXFiz is enhanced by Shima’s Online Services (Shima online) platform, which includes Shima Datamall, a digital content web service offering streamlined planning and production resources, and yarnbank, a digital yarn sourcing platform featuring digitised yarn data from global suppliers.
AT CHPE 2025, visitors will have the opportunity to explore Shima’s latest technological solutions and learn how they can revolutionise the hosiery industry. The exhibition will take place from 24th to 26th March 2025 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, with Shima presenting its innovations at booth 1D232.
